The Radiant Living Family Care home in Olympia, Washington

Adult Family Home · Olympia, Washington

A house on a quiet street, kept as a home.

Radiant Living Family Care is a licensed six-bed adult family home. Six residents, a familiar table, and care that does not change with the shift.

Welcome

We keep six residents in one household in southeast Olympia. Meals are cooked in the kitchen. Names are known. Care is licensed by the state and delivered by people who live the day alongside the people they serve.

I.

Six residents

A small, licensed household — not a facility. Private and shared rooms, a shared table, and a staff-to-resident ratio a large building cannot match.

II.

Specialized care

State designations for mental health and dementia care, with registered-nurse delegation for medications and ongoing health needs.

III.

A place to stay

A DSHS Medicaid contract means a private-pay resident who later spends down can remain in the same room, with the same people.

Open kitchen and dining room where meals are shared

The Household

One roof, one table, one household.

The home sits in a residential neighborhood off James Place SE. Inside is a single great room — kitchen, dining table, and living room together — where the day unfolds in view of one another rather than behind closed doors.

Rooms are furnished and warm. Bathrooms are fitted for safety, with grab bars and a roll-in shower. Nothing about it reads as institutional, because it is not one.
